Jailbroken PS3 Stuck On Loop With Update
Hi, around a half a year ago I helped a friend jailbreak his PS3 and successfully pulled it off. When the newest official PS update rolled in, he updated and now he is stuck in a loop trying to update showing the error 8002F334. What can we do to fix this? Thanks.

Any Folder Games that do NOT work when converted to ISO?

As the title says, are there any PS3 Folder Games/JB Format games that do NOT work when they are converted to ISO format?
I'm considering converting my Folder Game backups all to ISO because some games won't work right unless they are converted to ISO, but I'm always nervous about compatibility when converting to file formats, especially when Folder Game format was how backups were kept in the beginning.
If there are any known games that don't work, is there a list or website?

(Solved) PS3HEN - Boot Plugin txt issue
So i was messing around this morning around ps3xpad to make it work with HEN so i made a boot_plugin.txt via FTP and rebooted and since then everytime i try enabling HEN my PS3 Boots off with the led turned off like if i unplugged it off power. and since i can't get Irisman's File Manager to work i can't delete the txt file i made which created all this mess.
So i was wondering if there is any other solution for this matter to be solved?

Ps3 turn off when enabling HEN
Hi. When I try to enable Hen on my ps3 it just shut off. I dont know why. I use Hen from a long time and never had that problem. I'm on 4.84.2 HFW. If anyone know how to fix this please let me know ![:)]( "Smile :)")

sMAN missing
So I installed a modified version of webMAN Mod 1.47 and now my sMAN icon is gone from the xmb menu?? How can I get it back? I should also mention that it's called <piracy> instead of webMAN. Can I possibly change its name and icon too, along with getting back sMAN?

Havn't played my ps3 in maybe 5months or more. I'm on CFW 4.84 Rebug ( slim )
When I try playing a game, I suddenly get a trophy registration error.
I've tried both updating to OFW (via internet) & CFW 4.85 and also downgrading to 3.55 but i get error 80029c78.
I've been searching around and cant find a fix, I've tried:

So I have the newest hfw and hen 3.0.0 all my games mount good and play at first but when I play for about 2 hours I always get a hard freeze I managed to check a few times before it froze and my cpu and rsx was at 50c so it isnt over heating I tried a thing in webman where u give it more or less mem and that didnt really do anything and when I open multiman and go back to xmb webman folder is gone I dont know what to do at this point but the freezing is driving me crazy the mem is set to...

Help about change HDD process with HEN console
Hello people my current HDD is really crap cuz its very slow and i get high performance impact on games like low framerate, late loading textures etc.
so i just want to change the hdd with a better one or with a ssd if possible but i have HEN on my ps3 and i wonder if i can just copy and paste everything on the ps3 to the new HDD and use the new one or take a backup and load it from the new HDD. Thanks.

Hen tool box
So I thought it was hdd then I thought maybe a bad plugin but something kept causing my ps3 about 2 hours in to freeze didnt matter if I was in game or on xmb then today I reinstalled hen and just didnt install tool box package and now I have been on for about 4 hours and still no freeze I was wondering if it was because I pressed enable hen tool box before I installed the new one so maybe it glitched it out or something could the dev comment back to verify or if I just install the package...

No Video Output after Jailbreaking.
Hello. I used PS3Xploit and everything went well, I was following every step.
I've read in some places that things that could have caused this was a corrupted hex or unsupported version, but I did verify the MD5 and it was fine, and my MinVerChecker said 2.70
After installing my CFW on my ps3, the ps3 now turns on fine, but it does not output and video to my TV.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

As i know PS3 trust only to certificates in dev_blind/data/cert and all traffic decrypted .
With Wireskark i can see all connection of PS3 but it all decrypted .
So, how can i see traffic under SSL ?
i heard there is a method with replacing certificate which is responsible for sign in process and we can see https connection .
How to do that PS3 trust my own certificate ? and shows all traffic

USB vs HDD0 speeds?
Is it just me, or is USB faster than loading games from the hard drive? Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't having games in HDD0 would be faster since the PS3 reads it natively and also 1.5GBit SATA vs 480MBit USB 2.0? The game I tried this on was Tales of Vesperia, I noticed slower load times when I put the game on HDD0 as opposed when I had it on a USB stick.

So I wanted to know which is the fastest way to play backups, how does ps3netsrv compare to an external USB drive and to the internal drive or even a 3.5" drive connected to the internal SATA port via eSATA (with 7200rpm)? I won't count SSDs since they are way too expensive for me.

Ps3hen Enabler Problem
This happened after I pkg installed LA Noire, prior to this, my hen enabled just fine. Now, when I select enable hen on the xmb on my ps3 slim( 3.0.0 4.85), the enabler loads and in the corner the “Welcome to ps3hen 3.0.0” comes up. But the prompt to close the browser doesn’t come up and if I press circle, it goes to a blank moving background and after around 40 seconds, the console freezes then I have to unplug the power. I have tried reinstalling hen and rebuilding the database. Any ideas...
