CFW 4.85 to CFW 4.84?

Hello,

I need someone to clarify if it can be updated via USB and from CFW version 4.85 to the previous version (CFW 4.84) apart from knowing if there is any application for doing this downgrade.

Maybe this is a bit of a question ... Let's say a little absurd, but I don't know if it can be done or not. Since I am interested in downloading version to change from CEX to DEX.

First of all you can't launch homebrew,games,apps any kind of program all will give blackscreen even toggle QA Flag will give blackscreen so you can't install lower firmware (noBD versions) if your console is not already QA flagged you can follow on of those two method depending one what cfw you are on or which method you see it easier for you :)

Problems installing a downloaded game (CFW).

Hi everyone.

In short, I downloaded a ps3 game, but it doesn't have the folder named like this for example "BLES-XXXX" but just the name of the game.

If I transfer the folder with that name, will Multiman read it?

Can DLC/Updates be integrated into PS3 ISOs?

Hi everyone.
I am using PS3 ISO format for my games. For example, the game : Resident Evil 6 :

Is there please a way to update the ISO, and download game updates and DLCs (via PC), and integrate them into the ISO itself (without having to install PKG). So that when we launch the ISO using web-man we get the latest version with all DLC.

So I finally got all 170+ games I had ripped, and updates downloaded.

I got a 1 TB HD, and was swapping out the HD.
I installed the HFW on the new HD, and then tried to install the latest SPY CFW for HFW (8.01?)
I got "The Data is corrupted."
So I applied the HFW again, and then ps3exploited it, and flashed the nand.
I tried the CFW again. No luck.
I then applied the HFW again, and noticed it actually only gets to ~60% and then skips back to the OFW and starts up normally.
Every time I try...

I installed HFW 4.85.1 twice onto my Super Slim and then used the alternative HEN 3.0 installer from Ps3xploits site (remote play method).

When I'm lucky the cursor within enabler becomes a hand symbol straight away and activates HEN within a few seconds.
However, often when I launch HEN Enabler the cursor remains a mouse symbol, the green square will spin for a short time then stop before resuming again before stopping again this will repeat for about 20-40 seconds before my PS3 freezes I...

Hello guys i have installed Hen on my ps3 and i have Multiman installed too, i'm trying to play PS1 games on my PS3 when i load the game it loads normally but when the intro comes i press START to play my PS3 goes black and it Freezes i have to Reboot it and it keeps doing the same when it comes to playing PS3 games?? is there a fix and what's the solution?

TL;DR below.

So, I've had HEN for about a couple of months, and I thought why not start putting in images onto my ps3? (yes I know this is a normal ps3 thing, but I got LBP1 and wanted to start using an image import tool {which is also a normal ps3 thing, just need a usb}) but when I import images, whether it be from a UPNP server or USB, it comes up with a corrupted image, and I can't see anything. I have like 5 parts to this. I was able to jailbreak my ps3. For the past month I’ve done nothing but tinker with it.

First thing I’m looking for advice on is what’s the best way to store my games. I have about 6tb. On 4 hard drives. I have a usb hub switch for them. I failed at using a drive larger than 2tb but I’ve read some people got lucky some how. I have all the games on folder format. Fat32. The problem I run into is a lot of the larger games have split psarc files...

I have read the sticky threads about HEN and 4.85 HFW and I have an idea on how to proceed thanks to the provided tutorials and links, but I want to clarify some tiny/insignificant details just to be sure I'm doing things correctly or in case I'm missing something.

Unrar program i use winrar for andriod

Hi...i jailbroke my ps3 system 2 months ago.......i changed my system to Overflow 4.85v1 standard(successfully updated i had no errors)...after a while after my ps3 was booted and i played some gta it froze and i needed to pull the plug.....when i tried opening it nothing happens ...the green light on power button appears but the ps3 doesnt open.....i tried booting it up on safe mode but it wouldnt boot either ...now im stuck with a black screen....I can't find any fixes on YouTube .....Can...

I don't want to install webman or webman mod if its not necessary.

How to use ps2_softemu on a jailbroken PS3?

Hey guys, so i've been researching for a while now, apparently the emulator used to play PS2 isos on JB PS3's is the PS2NetEmu, the same used for PS2 Classics, which unfortunately doesnt support discs, there is another emulator called " ps2_softemu" which is able to run disc-based games, is this available only in older firmware revisions or can we use it on a JB PS3?

quick question, is it safe to keep the system online? and sometimes the games tell me that there is an update for the game too? (is it okay to update it?)

The reason i asked this is because, before i bought a jailbroken system with mmCM installed on it, and since i connected to inet trying for the HEN DEBUGGER thinggy, the system messed up, the system also upgraded to OFW 4.85, the package manager missing and nothing left, all system are cleared.

PS3 2504A 0C Datacode Minver 3.40;
Installed firmware is newest Rebug D-REX 4.84.2
4 years ago i did CEX->DEX conversion dont remember method and it's on continuously on newest dex since then.

Rebug Toolbox shows:
4.84 DEX
PS3 System Information : 4.84 DEX
LV2 Kernel :DEX
Target type: DEX
Cobra 8.1

Rebug Settings:
System Mode Rebug
XMB Operation Debug
Debug Menu Type DEX
