Having trouble getting Blu-Ray movie .iso's to play

Hi,

Hope you guys can help me out.

For a long time I've been wanting to upgrade my PS3 Slim's internal hdd so I could stuff it with (3D) Blu-Ray .iso's. So I finally did, and upgraded my CFW from Ferrox 4.82 1.0 to Ferrox Standard CEX 4.82 1.01 while I was at it. And that's when I found out multiMAN needs a Cobra CFW or USB to mount .iso's. I'm not really sure, but I think I was able to play them before. Haven't touched my PS3 in a while. Maybe I unkowingly had a Cobra Firmware?

Hey,

Im on Latest 4.84 Rebug REX with 8.1 Cobra. I know, when I put in a PS2 DVD on a BC PS3 it will activate the EE+GS to emulate on real metal but what's when I launch an PS2ISO, it will utilieses Cobra mode. Will cobra launch the iso on a BC PS3 with real hardware or just use the Soft Emulation like on newer PS3's Like CECHL or higher?

I just want to know, cause I like to prevent my BC PS3's from running to long and often so they do not fail so fast. So if cobra 8.1 launch...

Diffrent Stage2 of Cobra cause PS3 to not boot

A friend of mine have Ferrox 4.84 Cobra and he download stage2.dex from git REBUG 4.84 REX of evilnat and rename to stage2.bin and replace it in "/dev_flash/sys/" thinking with this he could use socat to see what files ps3 calls

i tell him that this will not work as stage2.dex meant for Rebug D-REX and have diffrent hashes then normal CEX CFW i know that as i have done it before as i remember formating the HDD will fix the problem cause ,when he power on the PS3 without...

I have a alot issues that I need some help with, So I started my playstation 3 running rebug 4.82,
Firstly tried to launch COD:BO2(disc) and I get a 80022D11 registration of the trophy information could not be completed. the game will quit error, it does this on COD:MW3(disc) aswell and my Fifa 18(backup) is stuck on checking for trophies screen, Any game with the Checking for trophies prompt at start hangs on the checking trophies screen, the game runs in the background but the checking...

Upgrading PS3 Slim Hard Disk with cfw

I have a PS3 Slim with 250GB hard disk. I want to upgrade to a 500GB hard disk, but am sightly confused in regards to the firmware. Some say put the official firmware back but some don't mention this. At the moment the system has Rebug REX.

My course of action is to take existing 250GB hard disk out, replace with 1TB hard disk, Restore PS3 System and when prompted for firmware I put in usb stick with the following:

USB Stick/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP (Rebug REX renamed as PS3UPDAT.PUP)

Problem with MGS4 Guns of the patriots

I'm on HEN 2.3.1 and I don't have any problem with PS3 games, except for one. I can load MGS4 Guns of the patriots, but it gets stuck in the loading screen. Waited for up to 10 mins but nothing. I tried downloading the videogame from other sources but nothing, and the same game works fine with CFW. In this particular case I'm converting the PS3 folder to an ISO. I tried everything and nothing seems to work.

Any piece of advice?

Hello all,

In the year 2009-2010 my parents gave me a PlayStation 3 Slim as present. A couple of years I didn't used this PlayStation (till 2012 I guess) and when I opened it up, I was able to update it to OF 3.55 en from there to Kmeaw CFW 3.55. Since then again I didn't make use of this PlayStation. Now I am considering using the PlayStation again, but I have a couple of questions because I am not aware of the CFW developments of this time:

what would be the right way to go from CFW to OFW for SAFE PSN access? (switching back to CFW is obvious now).
formatting the HDD and installing OFW is the obvious way but is this enough? is there a trace left on the flash that would have to be taken care of?
does this differ for a pure CFW versus a HEN (nonCFW)?

Hello, I'd first like to apologize if this is not the correct thread.
Trying to use the "http://www.ps3xploit.com/hfw/dumper/index_nand.html" on a phat ceche01 ps3 But freezes as soon as I click the "Initialize Exploitation". Wallpaper freezes too.

until some time ago i kept a backup of my yakuza 3 copy on a 32Gb pendrive but it broke recently and i bought a 16Gb as a replacement but since the game is 20Gb and i still want to keep the internal hdd lightweight as possible i wonder if i can split the game with split 4g and put a quantity of parts on the pendrive and others on the internal hdd and webman would still run the game

Hello people my current HDD is really crap cuz its very slow and i get high performance impact on games like low framerate, late loading textures etc.
so i just want to change the hdd with a better one or with a ssd if possible but i have HEN on my ps3 and i wonder if i can just copy and paste everything on the ps3 to the new HDD and use the new one or take a backup and load it from the new HDD. Thanks.

So I finally got all 170+ games I had ripped, and updates downloaded.

I got a 1 TB HD, and was swapping out the HD.
I installed the HFW on the new HD, and then tried to install the latest SPY CFW for HFW (8.01?)
I got "The Data is corrupted."
So I applied the HFW again, and then ps3exploited it, and flashed the nand.
I tried the CFW again. No luck.
I then applied the HFW again, and noticed it actually only gets to ~60% and then skips back to the OFW and starts up normally.
Every time I try...
