Rebuild Database in rec HDD needs to be formated now

I replaced the HDD, installed the newest FERROX, copied all my games back, installed all DLCS back, logged on PSN, resigned my save files. After all that work i thought maybe i should de-fragment the HDD heh. HDD needs to be formated. What the flying F%$# is happening ? It ate the HDD just to rebuild database? It was working pristine before i went to recovery. Is there a way out of this? Or back to downloads again?

I know this is one of biggest requests by HEN Users, and there are a lot of people saying that CCAPI are causing bricks!
The developer Enstone never update CCAPI, I already contact him via email, I'm waiting his reply and wait what he will say.

I have my HFW and Multiman on my flash drive ready to install. Given I am new to all of this I need advice. I don't know what all installing will let me do or if I will lose stuff I am familiar with. Watched a million videos so I don't have any doubt I can install it and stuff now. But I can't find videos on how to use or where to look for certain things. Plus my wife said she would kill me if I mess up the PS3. Lol. But I suppose I kinda need tutoring on how to use everything and where to...

I have a problem after installing a hen toolbox v1.00, my console got not run at all
every I turn on the system, I enter xmb and after 3 seconds the system goes to "reinstall Firmware"
and after that I reinstalled the fw using ofw 4.85 but...
it doesn't work at all
I had to formatting my hdd
And... yess it doesn't work

please give me a way to fix it

Hello everyone, i'm trying to play PS2 games on my Rebug 4.84.2 D-REX Fat PS3 and it just won't work right!
Cobra enabled and i've tried everything like changing the iso to PS2 classic pkg but when i try to install the pkg i get stuck on PLEASE WAIT and it stays forever like that tried all the methods and tutorials on DEX and CEX and failed.

All the software required is up-to-date.

ISO PS2 Games i tried to play:

Def Jam Fight for NY "placed in ps2iso launched by multiman / webman /...

Hi!

I wanted to unjailbreak my PS3 Slim. I was on rebug but wanted to restore my system so I did a factory reset but the rebug was still there after the factory reset. So I took my ps3 hdd and formatted it on my PC, after that a screen comes up that says
"The system software cannot be run correctly. Press the PS button to try restart the system."
If the system cannot be restarted, you must reinstall the system software.
Connect storage media that contains update data of version 3.20 or...

Hello,
I got a big problem with my PS3 slim (4.81 rebug). I haven’t played for a long time on the PS3 so last week I wanted play again but I saw there’s a new CFW out so I downloaded the latest rebug version and tried to install it. Before this, I deleted all the homebrew stuff like multi man and unfortunately rebug tool box too. I forgot that you need rebug Toolbox to “enable” the jailbreak and update so now when I tried to install the new rebug version it tells me “data is corrupted”. I...

The code of my device is CECH - 2504A ..
So I try to install (REBUG_4.84.1_REX or REBUG_4.84.2_REX) but I have got error code 8002F957 ..

How Can i fix it please ?!

Hey, installed a ISO game (ps2) on my ps3
All right done, if i start the game the console crash and get restart. In toolbox i cant find setting about ps2 emulator to enable.

Any reason why this crash?

Cobra enabled.

Edit:/ game is installed on HDD (no disc)

i just cant login to psn with my main account. every other account i have connected with no problem. but this particular account just won't connect i get connection with sony Network timed out every singel time. i tried every thing. restore to defult setting. rebuild data base. making new a user.but no action. plz help

Console auto shutdown issue

Hello everyone, I have PS3 Slim with Hen 3, I was on 4.84 and it was working fine, I formatted it then upgraded to HFW 4.85 (installed it twice) and added hen again, from time to time the console shuts down all of sudden with no red light on the power button until I click on it again it becomes red then another click to power it on.
How to fix that I believe it's not power supply issue since I had no issues on 4.84 like five days ago.

Can't Install HAN Toolbox 0.8.1

I recently installed HAN on my PS3 slim running firmware 4.85. After enabling it for the first time, I tried to install the unofficial 0.8.1 toolbox, but every time I try to install it I get error 80029567. I've read that this is a signing issue, but from what I can tell HAN Toolbox shouldn't need to be resigned? Does anybody have anything I can try to get this working?

First of all you can't launch homebrew,games,apps any kind of program all will give blackscreen even toggle QA Flag will give blackscreen so you can't install lower firmware (noBD versions) if your console is not already QA flagged you can follow on of those two method depending one what cfw you are on or which method you see it easier for you :)
