Ps2 iso or disc not working on ferrox 4.85

Please fix this problem.
When i install ferrox 4.85. The systém will not play ps2 disc or iso games at all. I tried multiman and Managunz. After installing rebug lite 4.85 everything works fine. Installed ferrox again the ps2 games dont work at all.

Jailbreak possible?

I got myself a used PS3 and was gonna try and jailbreak it and the guides on this is djungle, and in some places it's not even possible..
Here is the info i got.
Serial CECH-2004A
Installed firmware 4.84 and true MinVerPup it says 2.70 or later, what i read is that it should have showed is 3.56
to do it, so is it possible? if so point me to a working guide so i dont brick it.

Noobie to PS3 on OFW4.82

Hi guys-
Sorry to bother with noob questions, just picked up a PS3 FAT CECHA01 that is on OFW4.82.

I want to go the the latest CFW I can. I see CFW 4.85 is out there, but also read that OFW4.82 already had a straight hack to CFW. I looked, but the flash tool links are dead for 4.82 to do it.

Is the best path then to upgrade from OFW4.82 to OFW4.85, and then to HFW4.85, then to CFW4.85? Or is there an easier way just using OFW4.82?

I've read a LOT of PSX articles, just looking for expert...

Unable to play PS2 isos on PS3 running Rebug CFW

So I have installed Webman and whenever I boot my ps3 I get the 'Webman loaded' notification on startup. However when trying to play ps2 isos games that are compatible get stuck at loading after the PS2 logo splash. I also can not find the toggle to enable webman on rebug toolbox and when i try to toggle PS2Emu it says it has swapped and to reboot for changes to take effect.Yet it doesnt show that it switched to cobra on the gui (before rebooting) like it does when i switch to cobra mode....

so guys

i got a PS3 slim UK model 320gb yesterday at 70$ with 4 games discs (God of war3, Uncharted 2, AC black flag and NFS most wanted)
its in fresh condition and the owner didnt used it much he was just not interested in gaming
its CECH3003b model
i did HEN enabled and installed multiman by seeing a video from youtube

also i tried to copy a game disc game to its internal hdd but it takes too long time
the game gets copied by 3MBPS speed only
any clue how can i increase that speed?...

got a PS3 slim and also did HEN enabled next what??? ...

signing into my PSN account when I'm at the main menu. If I start the game after signing into PSN from the XMB, my console will freeze.

This problem occured after I deleted my old profile with my old PSN account. I forgot to deactivate the account from my console and it's not possible for me recover the email for the account because the email is made up of random letters and numbers. Maybe that could be the cause of the problem.

Now I have to attach an RTM tool while in-game on the main...

I can only play Black Ops II online if I attach LezZo BO2 Extreme Tool 3.0.1 to my console before...

Hello,

I have PS3 Phat CECHG04 7D console.

It has 40GB hdd, i tested it and it is 100% perfect.

I tried PS3HEN and now i tried CFW.

I did it all by the book, checked nand, used pyps3 checker, used md5 online checker, everything by the book.

And, when I install HEN, i install multiman and start it - IT GOES BLACK SCREEN AND FREEZES.

Same with CFW Cobra, I finish installing CFW, i install multiman and start it - IT GOES BLACK SCREEN AND FREEZES.

Al i can do is unplug ps from electricity...

CFW homebrew freezes all the time after instaling it, please HELP

Ps3 turn off when enabling HEN

Hi. When I try to enable Hen on my ps3 it just shut off. I dont know why. I use Hen from a long time and never had that problem. I'm on 4.84.2 HFW. If anyone know how to fix this please let me know :) .

i need help i tried to use a plugin on hen 2.3.1 but it didn't work and the worst thing is that every time i try to enable hen ps3 shuts down because it tries to load this corrupted plugin i tried to rehfw and install hen again , but it didn't work, what do I do? I need to delete this boot.txt somehow I think ..

so guys
i got a ps3 slim cech3003b model on 4.85 HFW HEN enabled
to play a game each time i have to enable HEN then start multiman then under multiman load a game and then i can see that in XMB game list
for each game i have to repeat the steps
i want that all should be loaded automatically by enabling HEN without going to multiman and should show up on XMB
is there any way i can do it?
experts advice appreciated

So

i got ps3 HEN enabled
i have multiman and webman installed in that
i want to copy a game from my internal hdd of ps3 or disc to External usb pendrive/harddrive
i want to have its copy and use it in my gaming PC in rpcs3 ps3 emulator to explore my PC capabilities
i followed below YT video to read NTFS usb drive in my ps3
but i dont see any option to paste a game in the same
please advice for this

I have a Slim PS3 CECH-2004 with code 9C which granted the compatibilty matters. I have followed the PS3Xploit NOR guide.
-I have installed 4.85.1 HFW twice just to be sure (however i dunno how to check if it is installed, my system info shows 4.85)

After a very painful few days, I finally got backups running on Overflow CFW nobd. The only way I could get them to run was by converting from a game folder (i.e., BLUS30050 (folder)) to an ISO.

I started downloading some DLC songs today.

First, can I add DLC to ISO backups?

Second, can I install European DLC for my USA game?
For some DLC songs, I could only find a BLES00228 version of the DLC (my game version is the US BLUS30050 version)....

I've been using the Youtube plugin on Movian with success for the past 6 months or so. However, a few days ago when trying to access my Youtube playlists and subscription feed, a popup requesting me to enter a code at the URL www.google.com/device is shown. When initially setting up I did this, now however the code doesn't work and i receive a message of "Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app", can anyone help ?
