Couldn't find any info about this. Installing DLC/updates for PS3 titles seems pretty straightforward, but I'm wondering if installing DLC for PSP titles is supported in some way. In particular I'm wondering about if it's possible to install Killzone Liberation's chapter 5 dlc.

Why if there is a game folder mounted, CFW2OFW games don't work?
Does anyone know, why if a game folder is mounted (CFW/HEN), the CFW2OFW game doesn't work? However, it does not matter if the ISO game is mounted.
Is it related to app_home? because ISO games aren't mounted to app_home.

Looking to add an external HDD to my CFW PS3, so that I can use Multiman and Copy my games from the original disc onto the external HDD. Can any USB external HDD or is there specific requirements o be compatible with the PS3 itself

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Quits To XMB After First Loading Screen (PS3HEN)
(Super Slim PS3) Got the pkg files for Splinter Cell HD Collection. Pandora tomorrow works fine however, Chaos Theory is another story. The game pkg installs fine but the patches don't seem to work. The first patch works up to the first loading screen (with the night vision spinning in the right corner) then after it loads i'm booted back to XMB. If I apply the second patch its gets past the regulatory screen then stays black forever. Don't know why this is happening since Pandora Tomorrow...

I have a jailbroken PS3 on CFW 4.85 I have an external USB drive formatted as NTFS I have used the prep ISO to run games from it in the PS3ISO folder and it is working but im having trouble getting movies on the USB drive to be seen in XMB and MultiMan (MMcm) I have MP4 and AVI movies in a folder from memory as "Movies", I have tried the scan USB drive option to find new games and movies but I think the movies have to be in ISO format is this true for CFW as a friends OFW PS3 had movies on...

Updating 4.20 OFW DEX firmware to Rebug
A fellow ps3 developer has a slim PS3, it was on storage for years. It had DEX 3.60 firmware on it.
Recently he wanted to updated it, and used 4.20 OFW DEX firmware from here:

What would be the right way to update that PS3 to 4.84 Rebug D-REX, so he can get back into ps3 development?

No "Backup Utility" at "Systemsettings" ?!
Hey, short question. I got a 1TB drive for my CECHC04 bat before I swap it out I would backup my data. So I went to Systemsettings and searched for the "Backup utility". I used it yeeeaars ago last time. Now I'm on 4.84 Rebug REX but this option is completely gone, only the transfere utility is left. Was it removed by sony?!

I have recently installed a new 500GB HDD i got from an old laptop (HDD should be fine)
every 2 or 3 restarts i get the following error
