Hen 4.85 blackscreen after run iso

Hi forum I am new to this jailbreak thing so I read the HEN all in one discussion forum.

However my problem is whenever I ran these two PS3 games I get a black screen it only happen to these games.

I removed webmod and install the 4.85 mmCM.

I watched many youtube videos that suggest you change the game setting bd mirror and internal but it didnt fix the blackscreen.

The first game I turn the game files into a ISO using irisman place it in PS3ISO and i have a copy of the game file...

Hello everyone

So I have this PS3 super slim cech-4004a running OFW 4.55 and it is modded with E3 ODE. I want to ditch the ODE and install HFW and HEN. Initially I thought of taking out the ODE hardware and putting the stock HW back together until I found out that they take two tiny components off the motherboard when they solder the ODE connector to the motherboard. So now I wonder if it's safe to install HFW on the device as is and what I should expect compared to a stock device during...

Hello, i put new HDD in my CFW ps3 and the new HDD keeps saying needs to format and it keeps wanting to format, now it will get stuck on 99%, at the moment i put into safe mode and am trying to install the update.

How to add new user to a JB console?

Since installed Rebug on my JB PS3, I have not been able to add any other users to the console apart from the one that was already installed when i JB it. Creating a local user isnt a problem, but when i try to sign into PSN when adding the account via the wizard, it just times out with an error.

Good Morning, I'm bad at starting threads so I'll go stright to it

I'm on a HFW 4.86.1 with HEN 3.0.1 on a PS3 Super Slim (CECH-4004C) after some research I found out that dumping the eid_root_key is only possible with a CFW like rebug (which I hope someone tells me otherwise) to mount the PS3 HDD, so my questions are:

- Is there anyway to mount PS3 Super Slim HDD to Windows or Linux?
- Is it possible to mount or any way to access my PS3 CECH-4004C HDD on the same PS3 console via USB?

Hi guys!
I've succesfully hacked a PS3 super slim 42XXA with latest HEN, by enabling it i've managed to install some games and play them, i've also installed webMan with dynamic fan control (68*C max).
BUT , i wonder, do i have to enable HEN every time to switch to dynamic fan control?
Or it does that on boot, even though HEN is not enabled?

Does anyone know, why if a game folder is mounted (CFW/HEN), the CFW2OFW game doesn't work? However, it does not matter if the ISO game is mounted.

Is it related to app_home? because ISO games aren't mounted to app_home.

Hi everyone! I installed Rebug 4.86.1 LITE on a CECHA01 fat PS3 that had OFW 4.86 using the PS3 toolset and it looked like everything was installed correctly.

Now when the PS3 boots up I get the Rebug splash screen but when I check the System Information I still see Version 4.86

Despite seeing the red icons and package manager whenever I try to open any homebrew the PS3 hangs in a black screen. It seems like custom firmware was installed but it doesn't work anyways? I tried going into...

Hey, everyone, i'm posting this thread so you can give me suggestions about what i could add to the command line interpreter i'm currently developing (check out the src here: https://github.com/E47-fx/PS3-PowerShell.

I've created two versions, a C# and a C++ version, the C++ version is more an experimental version, so i'll focus on the C# version.

Hi guys,
I was not happy with my last instalation of ps3hen so i decided to delete it by reinstalling HFW. Today ive been trying to reinstall Hen all morning, and everytime i try to do it via the alternative installer, my network tab disappeers and im forced to reinstall HFW and try again. I tried the normal installer aswell, both Offline and Online and it always gives me the checkmemory error.
What can be causing this issue?Please help me

I have a CECHE01 ps3 fatty currently on DEX, I got frustrated and went full retard on the blueray drive ribbon because I couldn't get the black little piece that holds the BD ribbon cable to hold it. The ribbon cable now has crooked "teeth" or lines on it and no longer detects a blueray drive.

I was on rebug 4.81.1 D-REX, I got games to load and XMB still worked using the BD EMU in debug settings, pkg files install, some games worked. I should have left it that way but my dumass self...

Hi Guys,

So I have a new issue that I cannot figure out.

Im running a 4.82 DREX Slim system
Rebug Toolbox 02.03.04
Cobra 7.55
Cobra is enabled and emluation set to cobra

When I play a backed up ISO of one of my PS2 discs, works fine.
Converted same iso to PKG (which i have done loads of times for HEN systems witout any issues)
the pkg will launch, i hear the PS3 Kick up a gear but right where it shoudl come up with the Playstation Screen, i just get a no signal message on my TV. The...
