Hi guys, first of all, sorry for bad english, but i will try my best for you can understand my question.
Scenario:
(First variant) - new hdd placed into ps3, installed ofw, logged psn and enjoying all that original things...

(Second one) - another new hdd placed into ps3, installed cfw after jb, offline psn, but enjoying all the customization stuff and so...

Question:
Its possible simply switch physicaly the one disk for second and vice versa with ps3 turned off and use one or second fw...

Hi everyone.
Just today I have raceived my PS3 Slim CECH-2004A/9C.
It is in 4.86 version. My goal is to be able to play "backup" games.
Is it currently possible to somehow make it CFW or HFW/HEN to be able to do that?
I have read multiple threads on this site but they are usually about older software, at the latest I read about was 4.85 (https://www.psx-place.com/threads/tutorial-ps3hen-the-great-ps3-hen-all-in-one-guide.24369/).
I checked and my model should be able to become...

Greetings i'm new to the ps3 modding landscape as the title says i'm wondering if there's a way to delete RAPs file that i already installed because my copy of Arkham Origins is facing freeze when launching the game because of a RAP (high chance that it might be corrupted) that was needed for the Deathstroke DLC i installed.

HI everyone, i have a PS3 with Firmware 4.83 original, never tried to jailbreak or other. i've read that my firmware is not easy to jailbreak and all the info are a lot confusionary. If someone can explain me what to do for jailbreak my ps3 or change the firmware to 4.82.

I tried to install hen v2 from its website (ps3xploits.com) on hfw 4.85 from first choice . I initialized the installer correctly. But when I hit install the console freezes although I did everything. Advised. The second choice alternate seems to never initialize after many attempts. Pls help me!

Hello guys, I am totally new in this community and a begginer with CFW and things around that.
I installed Overflow for 4.85, now 4.86 has been released. I cant go online to PSN and so on, so I need to know how to update, and what exactly to do now. Is there some guide here ? Or can some amazing one of you tell me what to do now ?

Hello Everybody !!!
My girlfriend was so fantastic and was playing with my PS3 4.84 CFW while i was outside.
She told me, she made a mistake and now i know what she means. That stupid girl has
deleted the " eid_root_key " of my PS3. I am pissed !!! Is there a possibility to get it back ???

Hello guys, I have a slim ps3 with 4.85 rebug CFW. My question is: is it possible to install pkg backup games on it and than install 4.86 OFW? My goal is to play online on 4,86 OFW my backup games previously installed on 4.85 CFW, in order to avoid a possible cid ban. If this is not possible , whats the best way to go online with a 4.86 rebug cfw?Thanks in advance

4.86 HFW Superslim not reading USB HDD

I have a 4.86 Superslim running HFW and Webman Mod.

For whatever reason Webman Mod will not pick up any games on the Ext USB despite them being in plain folder format (not ISO) and in a \Games or \Gamez folder.

The XMB PKG installer doesn't read any PKG files in the root and if I open WebMan file browser then it hasn't even assigned a mountpoint to the drive. In File Manager 1.37 the drive is mounted as dev_hdd1 but it doesn't read the contents.

The drive was formatted using FAT32 GUI....

Hello everybody, it's me again !!! (smile) [ S O L V E D !!!!!!! ]
In the past I had no problems with my PS3 4.84 DEX Rebug and I was happy. Right now I have the problem, that my PS3 won't start 60% of my games. It displays the errorcode 80010017. It is wired, only games that where installed as a PKG won't work. All ISO's are fine and playable. What does this mean? Is my PS3 broken?
Please help me, thank's !!!

Good Day,
perhaps someone has an idea what the issue with my ps3 slim (CECH-20xxA) is. Some days ago I turned my old ps3 slim back on (#coronatimes) which had some cfw rebug version on it, which I installed perhaps five years ago. Everything worked fine back then.

Now I receive the Errorcode 80010514 with every game, it doesn't matter whether its a bluray or of harddisk. Beside GranTourismo 5, which works flawless.
with the older Rebug version (sadly I don't know which one, but made a copy...

I've installed CFW 4.86 (rebug lite) recently, and everyday I play around 2/3 hours of games like Final fantasy lightning returns and watch dogs. My fan is fixed in 35%, and the temperatures stays around 70c CELL and 72/73c RSX, I wanna know if it's normal, I've removed the bd drive (cause it was broken) and I thought it would help the temperatures but it stills the same... My city's temperature goes around 32 during the day and 24 in the night, and as well the PS3 stays getting 70/72c, any...
