I'm currently learning C++ and it's not really hard for me (atleast the basics), i'm currently making a SPRX mod menu for MW3 (No i'm not going to release it anywhere, beacuse i'm not a fan of destroying other's experiences). Info: PS3HEN(i think 4.85 i really dont know)

Ok so i installed a mod loader for gta5 one week ago, and since that day when i put the disc Of gta5 in to the ps3, i noticed that the ps3 is a bit louder than usual(sry if my english is bad) i searched in browser and found that when you mod a game wich is disc, the ps3 will constantly read the disc or something and this can destroy your Harddrive or something, i really dont know if this is the case in HEN but i want to know If yes.thanks to...

Good morning everyone ... the console in question when it was upgraded from 4.42 to 4.84 presented error 8002F14E generally related to cables, but in this case some type of liquid was ejected into the driver that accumulated on the bottom and definitely damaged the card driver. Ok you have to downgrade and then remarry right? with e3flasher I did two dumps I went to "Ps3dumpchecker" and everything is OK ... from now on I don't know what to do .... can someone help me?

So sorry if this is the improper place I have a minor brain injury (makes figuring things out harder)
I have the Hybrid Firmware and am aware I should not update to the new .86 update. What I am asking is:
1.How can I get back online PSN and such
2. Is there a new Hybrid Firmware? How will I update from this current version.
3. I am very lost and do not want to make the wrong steps, I am aware one mistake can destroy alot.

ps3 cfw blackscreens, disk drive problem?

Hi everyone. I recently bought a ps3 and it worked without any problem. I could play my backup games for good. but i decided to replace its HDD. afterwards, multiman blackscreens. I even tried to install webman but it has the same problem. I also downgraded it and changed the cfw type but it didn't help.
there is something that might be the problem. its disk drive does not work. could it be related to the blackscreen problem?

hi , i dont understand how i can start game from webos or multiman if i want to play online too .... when i turn on spoofer 4.86 (sen enabler 6.2.5) its put my ps3 in ofw so i cant have acces to webos or multiman to lautchthe game... !?

Hi Guys looking for some help please.
so after being stuck in the house for a week and not being able to get a new console from amazon until next week, thought i would dust of the old PS3 and see what i can get working, so i have a Phat CECHG which when i run miniver says 1.90, so it should be able to install CFW, so far done the following,
1.installed OFW 4.85 twice
2. Installed HFW 4.85.1 twice
3. ran Exploit in Nand Dumper (completed Successful)
4. tested dump.hex all come back ok no...

Good evening guys ,today i wake up on the news of $ONY releasing a new OFW 4.86 well i am not suprised as we expect it to be in action as few days ago an info spread on internet say the messaging feature between the PS3 & other consoles will be removed so i decide to be the first to make a 4.86 CFW i start with most simple one which is Standard Edition with a Clean Look&Visual
So watch this thread as you will be notified when i upload the file

As i make it but i will test every type...

Came across my jailbroken ps3 and plugged it in, would like to get it up to date on the best cfw i can go to right now to play games online and rtm again. Currently running 4.50 ITA Dex. Was going to downgrade to 3.55 dex, but before I do what's the best firmware option right now to get online and have capabilities like before?

Hello to all,

After my last thread we figured out ,that the problem is my Bluray drive.
Even though until today the PS3 was working just fine, but i tried to install the OFW , 4.85 just to jailbreak it, as i was guided to .
But it never completed everytime stucks at 70% saying the usual error with BluRay code.

So ,now it's keep looping, i can get only into Recovery mode, after i "format" the disk ,and erase the procedure.

What should i do ? How can i just install any update?

My PS3 FAT...

webman mod problem! going back... help

pals,

i have a ps3 (2508b) on 3.55 CFW with multiman 4.46 installed,
today i thought to update to
multiman 4.86 along with webMAN_MOD_1.47.25.9 and MAMBA_PRX_Loader_4.84.2

but after installing the 3 packages, multiman started as usual without any issues, but when i tried to start prx loader with L1 pressed, the ps3 hang. then again hard restarted my ps3, and this time without L1 key, still same issue, ps3 hang. then tried to check webman folder on xmb, but it was empty, also
my *package...
