hello everyone ,, i have terrible problem on my ps3..,,

i'm new on ps3 i just have it recently , & i want to put jailbreak on it , i got tired of put ofw 3.55 on it

i put in flash memory the PUP file but when it start updated it stopped in 71% then it say the data is corrupted (8002f957) !! i got tired

try even in recovery mode ,, pleas help!

my model: cech-2501A
AND i'm in 4.80 newast update!

HELP PLEAS pleaaas i will wait something to make me happy!

Problems after unbricking a PS3 slim

I was given a PS3 slim SCPH-25004B, it's kind of semi bricked. When I turned it on it boots to FSM and stuck there. The OS on it was 4.53 as I checked. I used LV2Diag.self in USB and tried to exist FSM but it did not work.

So, I soldered a Teensy++2 programmer and dumped the Nor, I have all my dumps checked in the latest PS3 dumpchecker and it reported all dumps are OK. So, I accepted patching of the dump then I wrote the patched bin back but PS3 did not boot. It turned off after turning on...

Hi everyone!

I have a ps3 CFW Rebug 4.80. My HDD is almost full and i want to delete everything on it.

How can i do this without losing jailbreak?If i do a Restore PS3 System and then Quik Format after finishing i have CFW 4.80 or OFW 4.80?

Silent Hill (NTSC-U) won't load via WebMAN+Cobra (Rebug 4.8x REX)

So I have this strange problem that ANY dump of Silent Hill won't load when loaded via WebMAN in Cobra mode, the screen just stays black, not even the PS1 logo shows up, but I can still press the PS button and quit the game fine.
I had this issue with 4.80.x and now with 4.81.2 too.

If I go into the Rebug Toolbox and disable Cobra mode and then load the game via Multiman (Cobra mode) it loads perfectly fine, other people have been playing Silent Hill fine via Webman..

I can't even update...

Hello all,

Bit of a noob with the PS3 so please bear with me. I have a PS3 slim which was already running fine with a Rebug CFW until the hdd died. I have installed Ferrox 4.81 (as my ps3 just would not reload the rebug) on a new hdd and im back into the PS OS. I have seen a number of features listed for Ferrox 4.81. Question is do i still need to install multiman to play my backed up games or does Ferrox 4.81 have something equivalent buit into it.

Easiest way to replace hard drive with a bigger one (CFW)

Hey there!

I plan to replace my internal hard drive of my PS3 Slim. It runs with REBUG 4.81x and COBRA 7.5x (the latest release). Is there a easy way to replace the hard drive? Something like cloning or copying the files on PC from HD_old to HD_new? I want to avoid a fully new resetting of REBUG, Games und Co... :(

So I wanted to know which is the fastest way to play backups, how does ps3netsrv compare to an external USB drive and to the internal drive or even a 3.5" drive connected to the internal SATA port via eSATA (with 7200rpm)? I won't count SSDs since they are way too expensive for me.

I've read that it's better to store and load the backups as ISOs, this should make a difference if you store them on a USB drive or the internal drive, but does this also apply to the ps3netsrv?

Ok, so I have been around many forums lately trying to find an answer.

I have a PS3 Super Slim (CECH-4004A) model with OFW 4.70

never used a CFW of anykind before, just regular PSN network gaming was done.

I am about to hand it over to my little brother to play around with, and would love to load it up with a bunch of games (PSN not required, since he will be playing single player most of the time)

my question is - can someone give me a straight answer as to what I can do to play...

I upgraded a DECHA00A from some ancient DEX OFW to REBUG 4.81 and sman would stream BDISO using ps3netsrv in DEX mode without doing anything special. However none of the DVD/Bluray discs I tried would play.

I tried various things to see if I could get discs to play but have currently given up, but now streaming BDISO no longer works in DEX mode. It gives the same error number that you would get before the dex mode signing was done. If I switch to CEX mode then it works again, but I'd rather...

I just updated my Ferrox to 4.81, but the PSNPatch plugin stopped working. So I updated PSNPatch but the PSNPatch Plugin still does not trigger at all.
