Is it possible to switch back to OFW after PS3xploit ?

Hello,

I'm pretty new to ps3 hacks, i just hacked my ps3 slim (2004B) everything is running great

Out of curiosity i would like to know if it is possible to go back to a clean ofw ?
To "remove" the hack, the custom firmware and re-install a 4.82 OFW ?

Hello,

I flashed my ps3 using the ps3xploit
I installed the flsh.hex using the hosted NOR Downgrader v1.0 then installed rebug.

But after installing three games, i realise now that the console's internal storage quickly filled up
So i'm considering changing the hard drive to put a larger one

My question is : after putting the new hard drive, what should i do ?
I think i need to run the hard reset process to let the ps3 format the hard drive. Then what ?
When it asks for a firmware,...

I got an Xbox 360 controller plugin (wired) and it works for some games (CoD, FIFA), but it doesn't work with some other games, such as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle. Any tips would be appreciated.

How to get old gameboot + console boot for 4.82?

I found a post on wololo to get the old gameboot chime and logo back for 4.80, but I'm on ferox cobra 4.82 and trying this on rebug 4.82 gave me a brick. Does anyone know of a working version for 4.82? How hard is it to make? I don't know how to make a plugin.

"Not in XMB!" constantly shown in games

I can't figure out what this message is or how to get rid of it. I'm on the latest 4.82 Rebug Cobra and I get this "Not in XMB!" notification popping up every few seconds constantly while playing. It's just annoying enough to drive me here to figure out how to get rid of it. Anyone know what causes it and how to get rid of it?

any issue's or obstacles with games that will need to be re-installed from psn, not got many , or is that a no no---might as well ask whilst on upto date cfw (same as OFW) will it be ok to download these again, or do a backup , on another spare hdd

ok, im unsure if this is even a remote possibility or if it is a thing, or part of a thing...

but lets take dlc for example.. they come in pkg's rite?
well, after installation of them, its not like a icon is then displayed on the xmb.
so, is there a way to get a list of lets say, what dlc is installed and/or then a way to uninstall said dlc.pkg?

boy, i hope that made some sense..

ok. the first inquiry was resolved too quickly that i am still in need of a "help" fix.

ok, is there a way to create like directories under the "games" section.
like. a folder for the cfw tools, sport games, etc...

once again, here is hoping this made some sort of sense..

I currently have Ferrox 4.82 running, but would like to change to Ferrox 4.82/Cobra 7.55. Is it safe to just "Update" to it?
(Preferably, a clear as possible answer, I get (too) easily confused and really don't want to mess it up-)

ok, so i got a japanese game. i got it put onto a usb under "games" blah blah. theres the ps3_game directory another directory and a file, multiman sees it and starts to lod the game.. i then says like. valating data ten closes.

any clues. ned more info ?

s ill copy pkgs from a usb the the packages directory on the hdd, but after a succesful copy, i return...

hello, i have a CECHC, came with no bluray drive and a spare BD Logic Board. i installed CFW Through ps3xploit and then rebug 4.82 but i cant manage to run any homebrew. the nobd version of rebug 4.82 bricked a nor console i had and i have no intention of using it if you are suggesting that, so what my options to remmary the BD? i also plan on remmarying the BD with a BMD003 not BMD001/2,

So I have an OG LAUNCH MODEL Phat ps3, I installed the files on a usb drive as guides told me, i'm on the current firmware, i went to the redtrainer site... picked the NAND option as i have one. I clicked the "initialize exploitation" after five failed attempts It was succsesful.. then it says to proceed to patch nand flash... then i click the "Patch NAND flash memory" It froze on me twice before but hasn't froze this time but the process is going on an hour now... It notes the patch...

Hi guys! Its been a long time since i used my ps3 and i have forgotten some things... and i dont want to screw my console :P :P Right now i have Rebug 4.78.1 ( or 4.78.2 i dont remember exactly). I want to upgrade to the latest rebug 4.82.1 version (CEX). I just install it through XMB?
