Restore Games etc

Hi
I had a PS3 running rebug 4.82 that started to die with YLOD.
I managed to get a backup completed before it died
I've got another PS3 that is running 4.84 and have installed rebug 4.84

Is there a way that I can use the restore to at least bring back my games/homebrews?
I didn't want to try anything in case I caused it to brick.

Any help or guidance is appreciated
