Help!!! PES6 PS2PKG>PS3

Hello,

This is driving me mad! I have trued everything to get this game to work (Pro evolution soccer 6), am familiar with Rap/Rif etc. The game loads, gets past memory card load then crashes on the intro. Is it just the game? compatibility lists say it does but I can't get it to work.

PS3 slim, with HAN installed (have got other PS2 games to work)
