Choosing a hardware flasher (Phat, OFW 4.84, NAND)

Hello, dear community!

Just got PS3 Phat (CECHG, Date Code 08) with OFW 4.84, and it's obviously NAND.
As I understand, I need either Teensy++2 or Progskeet 1.2 to install CFW.
So, which one is more convenient/approptiate for my situation?
Also I have plans for changing HDD. Should I "intervene" in my PS before or after HDD change.
