After completing a jailbreak on off 4.82, I decided to try failoverflow's cex 4.83. While trying to downgrade to rebug rex 4.82, the PS3 wouldn't boot, not even into recovery. Thinking I totally bricked the system, I decided to remove the hard drive, BINGO! It worked! Thinking the issue was a corrupted os install, I formatted the hard drive (with a pc). Now the PS3 wants 4.83 off on a flash drive . Does this mean I'm stuck until an exploit is made for 4.83 or is there a trick I'm missing?...
