Hacking options for a true debug PS3?

What options exist for hacking a debug PS3? I have a backward-compatible actual Debugging Station (DECH-A00A).

I've heard that it's possible to play Blu-Ray movies on DEX firmware now, but I don't know whether that applies to Debugging Stations.

I can disable HDCP for games on this system, right?
