Clean install from CFW

I recently got a PS3 Slim 2500 with 4.82 Ferrox Cobra on it.
I would like to get it to the cleanest state by wiping everything installed and starting fresh.

I was thinking to restore to OFW and then install Rebug but I don’t know how I should proceed and whether it’s safe.
