regarding new ofw 8.42

hi this is great forum for newbie like me to learn something new

and im so stupid jb my ps3 without any further knowledge.

my problem is
i install ofw 3.55 dex on my ps3
then update to cfw rebug 4.82 dex
then change to cex using rebug tool box
(follow all the guide kernel , dump)
after that my console hang and freeze

after that my screen all black . cant do anything
then i format my hdd . it needs 4.82 or higher

is this means i only have to use 4.83?
or is it any chance i can use ofw...
