Is every PS3 Slim hackable?

Hi guys. I found a pretty cheap PS3 Slim and I wanna know whether it's hackable. I'm a new PS3 user and I don't know much about hacking the console. All I know is that I need to install a custom firmware in order to play pirated PS3 games.
If it's hackable then what hack do I need?
