CECH-2001B on 4.80 OFW, what can I do?

I recently got a PS3 Slim, model CECH-2001B, that's running 4.80, so I suspect I may have some options for CFW here. I tried HEN on a 3000 and didn't enjoy it so that's why I went looking for an older model. So just wondering what I can do right now, other than HEN. Would it just be best to wait for bgtoolset? I've on the console mod wiki that you can self host. I also saw Rogero and Rebug downgraders, don't know if any of that's recommended though, I'd like to not brick a console lol, I'm...
